KLUTZ CALCULATION: Can a klutz perform this without fear of destroying personal property or planning the quickest route to the emergency room?

Tested Tips are based on two other unscientific criteria

My Sisters Dolls PDF Print E-mail
Written by Robert Pottle

When I was growing up, it was a popular theroy that if you gave young boys dolls to play with, they would grow up to be more sensitive and have better social skills. I think that I am living proof that giving a doll to a boy will not make him more sensitive or have better social skills. If you don't believe me, just ask my wife.

The only things that I remember learning from dolls are lessons about dismemberment. Today, we understand that a doll in the hands of a boy, is a doll that wil soon be decapitated.

As a side note, there are actual measuable differences in male and female brains that account for differences in the ways we play. No, male brains aren't smaller, it only seems that way. In short, the ways that males and females think, see, and hear, are all different. If you are a total nerd like me, and into brain research, check out the book Why Gender Matters .

A child surrounded by a bunch of decapitated dolls makes a great, although slightly disturbing, picture. Here is a short poem designed specifically with scrapbookers in mind. This poem is just on example of the hundreds of quotes and poems you can find in the book The Ultimate Guide to Celebrating Kids Vol. II .

My Sister's Dolls

My sister thinks her dolls look best

when dressed in pinks and reds.

I think my sister's dolls look best

when they have no heads.
