| My Sisters Dolls |

When I was growing up, it was a popular theroy that if you gave young boys dolls to play with, they would grow up to be more sensitive and have better social skills. I think that I am living proof that giving a doll to a boy will not make him more sensitive or have better social skills. If you don't believe me, just ask my wife. The only things that I remember learning from dolls are lessons about dismemberment. Today, we understand that a doll in the hands of a boy, is a doll that wil soon be decapitated.
A child surrounded by a bunch of decapitated dolls makes a great, although slightly disturbing, picture. Here is a short poem designed specifically with scrapbookers in mind. This poem is just on example of the hundreds of quotes and poems you can find in the book The Ultimate Guide to Celebrating Kids Vol. II .
